Job Description
Mini Hops Gymnastics is looking for a Marketing Intern. They would be responsible for assisting the marketing department with various tasks and projects. This may include:
  • Creating and implementing marketing campaigns to promote the gym and its programs.
  • Managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
  • Assisting with the creation and distribution of promotional materials, such as flyers and brochures.
  • Conducting market research to understand the target audience and competition.
  • Helping to plan and execute events, such as open houses and annual fundraisers.
  • Assisting with email marketing campaigns and analyzing their success.
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as data entry and scheduling.
  • The intern should have an interest in marketing and a desire to learn about the industry. Strong communication and organizational skills are also important. Some experience with marketing tools and software is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • We would especially like someone interested in video marketing and who has a good understanding of video creation and editing, and most importantly enjoys video marketing.

Please note that the Marketing Team is also our Customer Service Team. Mini-Hops serves as a recreational facility for a large community of children and their families, thus the majority of the hours for this position are between 3pm-9pm and Saturdays 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm. The position will interact with customers, answering their questions and addressing any concerns they may have, scheduling classes and appointments, handling financial transactions, and maintaining customer records. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for this role, as well as being tech/computer savvy to use our class management system. Light cleaning is also part of all positions at this organization.


Qualifications
:
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and process information.
  • Organization and time management skills.
