Job Description
The Enrollment Management Strategist leads efforts to effectively utilize data analysis, trend analysis, and market research to guide decisions related to recruitment and marketing strategies for high school students pursuing a university education. This position fills a critical role in identifying national, regional, and local areas of possibility and growth to attract and engage prospective students. Expertise in data[1]driven decision-making will be instrumental in shaping S&T recruitment and marketing efforts to optimize enrollment outcomes.

  • Data Analysis and Trend Analysis: - Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the education sector. - Analyze large datasets, including enrollment data, demographic information, and educational trends, to uncover insights relevant to high school student recruitment. - Monitor and evaluate relevant metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of recruitment and marketing initiatives. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data requirements and implement data collection processes to support ongoing analysis.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: - Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify areas of differentiation and potential growth for the institution. - Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in student recruitment and marketing strategies. - Analyze competitor data and market intelligence to inform the development of innovative recruitment and marketing campaigns. - Identify target segments, geographic areas, and market niches to focus recruitment efforts and tailor marketing messages accordingly.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: - Provide strategic guidance and recommendations based on data analysis and market research findings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including admissions, marketing, and communications, to align recruitment strategies with institutional goals. - Develop and implement data-driven recruitment plans and marketing campaigns to attract high-potential students. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives, making adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: - Foster a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting the use of data and analytics in decision-making processes. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify data needs and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility. - Provide leadership and guidance to a team of data analysts, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the timely delivery of high quality insights.
Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, statistics, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in data analysis, trend analysis, and market research, preferably in the education sector.
  • Experience working with enrollment data, student demographics, and educational trends.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and data visualization techniques.

Data-driven Mindset:

  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and distill insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and forecasting.

Strategic Thinking:

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative recruitment and marketing strategies based on data insights.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the higher education landscape.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.

Leadership Skills:

  • Experience leading and managing a team of data analysts or researchers.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
