Job Description:

  • Represent PFH Treatment Services and clients served in a positive manner to staff, community agencies, and community members.

  • Treat all persons served and their families with dignity and respect.

  • Oversee the services provided by PFH RPG Services to ensure clients served are safe, healthy, well-informed, included in decision made, included in their individual plans and to ensure their rights are protected.

  • Collaborate to maintain the advocacy process, intervention strategies, clinical protocols, administrative procedures, and evaluation methods.

  • Coordinate with community professional and naturally occurring support systems and agencies.

  • Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Treatment Services, Program Evaluator and Community Partners to monitor project process and outcome compilation of all evaluation and client data collected by Research Assistant.

  • Collect and apply data to improve outcomes for children and families.

  • Provide case consultation, ensure case reviews are conducted quarterly, and conduct performance evaluations.

  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Treatment Services, Grants Manager, and Program Evaluator on interactions with grant administrators as necessary.

  • Oversee and ensure the training program for personnel following contractual requirements.

  • Oversee quality assurance and outcome management processes.

  • Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and current vehicle insurance.

  • Partner and collaborate with other community agencies to arrange services supporting client's accomplishment of treatment goals identified within the Treatment Plan. Advocate for quality services in the community for each woman and/or family.

  • Provide periodic progress reports regarding client treatment to community collaborators including but not limited to Children's Division, Probation & Parole, etc. via secure phone or fax.

  • When needed, in support of grant staff, appear at scheduled staffing and court sessions prepared to report on clients' progress including but not limited to attendance, issues of non-compliance, and progress on treatment goals.

  • Adhere to all HIPAA and 42 CFR requirements.

  • Must maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, HIPPA, and Ethics.

Other Responsibilities

  • Follow through on recommendations of Vice President of Treatment Services as outlined on Professional Development Plans including but not limited to attending required training, completing higher credential requirements, and completing self-evaluations.

  • Meet with Vice President of Treatment Services for supervision at all scheduled appointments.

  • Complete Client Chart Reviews as required by PFH policy and grant requirements.

  • Complete Incident Reports and submit to the Vice President of Treatment Services for review within 24 hours of receiving knowledge of reportable events as defined by the PFH Treatment Services Incident Definitions.

  • Attend/complete all required training.

  • Provide on-going training clinical team members.

  • Participate in community awareness events supporting persons served or partner agencies.

  • Responsible for all property issued including keys and other PFH Treatment Services equipment and/or supplies utilized during job functioning.

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with behavioral interventions and the principles of learning theory.

  • Demonstrated professional communication skills including the ability to read and write coherently and cohesively in a neat, grammatically correct manner.

  • Demonstrated personal characteristics suitable to provide a positive role model for men, women, their children, and families.

  • Demonstrated strong time management skills demonstrating the ability to complete all required paperwork on time and meet.

  • Demonstrated computer skills sufficient to utilize the PFH Treatment Services Database, PFH Treatment Services Server network, and grant required data entry as needed.

  • Acquired knowledge of Missouri Department of Mental Health Certification Standards governing program practices.

  • Must pass a background check to include criminal history, abuse/neglect records, and driving record.

Experience and Education Qualifications:

Program Directors must present five years of demonstrated leadership ability, supervisory, and system management experience. A comprehensive understanding of clinical theories, modalities in treatment methodology, AUD, SUD and co-occurring disorders, knowledge of issues in recovery, gender specific treatment considerations, and sound ethics in counseling is required. A combination of life experience, skills, and education which would build the skills to operate a complex program, supervise personnel, advocate for persons served, and participate in long range quality improvement planned is preferred.

Supervisory Requirements:

Responsible for the supervision of RPG Family/Children's Coordinator. Ensure streamlined project implementation and management in order to reach goals and objectives of PFTP-CM. Oversee daily operations to ensure successful implementation of the program, and determine when a change of course is necessary. Coordinate all services for women and supervise Family and Children's Coordinator.

  • Communicate the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation by all associates.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of the services provided.

  • Take an active role in monitoring the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives.

  • Involve, as appropriate, all associates in order to achieve goals.

  • Effectively communicate to associates any changes and news worthy events within the department or company to all associates.

  • Handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion and Human Resource advice to show respect for the individual

  • Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas.

  • Reinforce team approach throughout functions; support and solicit input from team members at all levels within the company.

Employment Requirements:

  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record and abuse/neglect.

  • Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.

  • All training requirements including Relias Learning at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.

  • Must maintain certification in CPR, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens.

  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and valid auto insurance.

  • Must maintain current clinical certifications as awarded (LCSW, LPC, or MCB certifications).
