Our Academic Leads provide efficient, constructive feedback to promote students' learning; they also monitor student progress and support success. Academic Leads support their content specialist team with mentoring and guidance. They have a strong voice in the iterative course development process, including content, activities, assignments, exams. Finally, Academic Leads represent Mizzou Academy's values and mission in their communications and presentations.
Duties:
The percentages are estimates. Depending on our changing school needs, these percentages may ebb and flow. Taking care of current students/courses and responding to your team are always top priorities.
Management of Student Submissions 20%
Primary purpose-provide efficient and constructive feedback to support students' learning.
Communication and Team Support 35%
Primary purpose-represent Mizzou Academy, share content expertise, and equip others to give excellent feedback to students.
Development 15%
Primary purpose-contribute to the iterative course development process.
Grading 25%
Primary purpose-give feedback and monitor student work across the curriculum.
Professional Flexibility 5%
