ABOUT THE JOB
  • In Columbia, our plant is separated into two areas: textiles and mill. In those areas, we specialize in the manufacturing of the rubber and string that goes into Gates belts
  • Our process starts with raw material - mixed, heated, and cooled for mill production and unwound, coated, and rewound for textiles.
  • A Warehouse Associate will spend most of their day ensuring the safe and efficient performance of assigned duties relating to all aspects of shipping, receiving, and/or inventory control and maintenance. They will be responsible for completing and/or having completed all necessary training with regard to forklift operation, Oracle ERP system Receiving, and WMS Shipping processes. Additionally, they may be asked to assist in other areas of the plant, including, but not limited to, inventory counting, WMS/GPS implementation, and material planning and control. The primary duties will involve supporting and backing up the Logistics Specialist with the International shipments and other respective duties.
  • Shift: 10:00am - 6:00pm

ABOUT YOU
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
  • Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction.
  • Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
