The primary purpose of the Food & Beverage Attendant is to provide guests with an excellent dining experience while assisting in the presentation of the complimentary breakfast/evening reception.
Starting Hourly Pay: $13.00
Work Performed:
The Food & BeverageAttendantwill be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
Complete the sanitization/disinfection/cleanliness of the work area, including countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigerationequipment;
Present complimentary breakfast/evening reception by obtaining supplies, clearing dishes, wiping the table, and restocking the buffet area.
Provide a high level of customer service, including resolving customer concerns warmly and professionally;
Able toperform the duties ofa complimentary bartender, busser, cook, or serverasneeded;
Knowledge of menus, presentation, and preparationmethods;
Ensure that all food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage and holdingtemperatures;
Work with all employees as a team to ensure smooth operation of foodproduction;
Facilitate shift changes and relay any pertinent information to the supervisor and next-shiftemployees;
Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be at risk of cross-contamination, keepingcompartment sinks, sideboards, and refrigerators clean andsanitized;
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents,injuries,and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications; and
Allother work is required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous food service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Safety Trainingcertifiedor become certified within the first 60 days of employment.
- Alcohol Awareness certifiedor become certified within the first 60 days of employment
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionally and 15lbs regularly
- Ableto bend and squat repeatedly
- Able to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift
- Flexible towork dayshifts, early mornings, evenings,nightsweekends, and holidays
