ABOUT THE JOB

Perform professional human resources activities related to recruitment using various channels to look for potential candidates, contact passive candidates, and build talent pipelines for future hiring needs. This position focuses on the proactive identification of hiring needs to generate applications for employment at MU Health Care to promote the mission of saving and improving lives.

SALARY RANGE $52,666 - $83,179

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks.
  • Remain knowledgeable about recruitment and hiring best practices.
  • Craft and send recruiting emails to passive and active candidates.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements in areas of current and future need.
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs utilizing data-driven decisions.
  • Track conversion rates of passive candidates' transition to applicants, interviewees, and hires.
  • Request and coordinate referrals from current employees and external networks.
  • Promote the MU Health Care brand online and offline with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Maintain candidate databases.
  • Participate in career days, job fairs, and recruitment drives.
  • Connect with past applicants regarding new job opportunities that match their interests and qualifications.
  • May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to develop breakthrough ideas.
  • Maintain familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systems.
  • Knowledge of unique and innovative sourcing techniques.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's degree.

Two (2) years of professional experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, marketing, or a related area with comparable knowledge and experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business administration, personnel management, or a related area.

Experience in online sourcing or sourcing certification.

Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
