DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – St. Mary’s Health Center Heart Institute:
We are seeking a positive, influential leader with successful experience in building and leading a team to desired outcomes and goals; and a creative, proactive change agent with a strong understanding and successful track record of improving overall satisfaction and operational results.
Director of Business Development leads effective identification and deployment of major growth initiatives, new business/product line launches, and spearheads significant expansions/enhancements of existing product/service lines. The key accountabilities for the role include timely deployment of strategic initiatives, achievement of top line revenue goals, and achievement of margin expectations throughout assigned areas and service lines.
The director works with the executive staff to evaluate, develop, and implement growth initiatives. Additionally, this leader serves as the business development advisor for hospital management, physicians, and managed care leadership for the assigned market area and/or specialty services.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
•Masters degree in business administration, health administration, or relevant discipline.
•Minimum of five years experience in management, planning, business development, or consulting, with previous health care experience strongly preferred.
• Personal computer skills, specifically the ability to complete projects which require operation of word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics software programs.
•Effective, credible, engaging leader with ability to hold team accountable.
•Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to motivate and influence others to achieve excellence.
•Highly organized, systematic and able to function successfully in a fast-paced environment.
•High level of initiative and ability to manage competing priorities / short deadlines.
